Saturday evening in Bath at the Koh Thai Tapas

Meeting friends in Bath for evening cocktails and Thai meal. Starting point was the Be At One Cocktail bar happy good time to start although I had the keys and was driving. ;-( next time i will take the train. Good atmosphere here and I was told the drinks were also great next time I will try myself. Looking forward to it.

From here we moved onto the Koh Thai Tapas early evening sitting, shown to our table for 4 up stairs at the rear of the restaurant.  A few evening meal drinks a good chat and laugh before ordering. Bottle of white wine, Singha beer lovely. Now for the orders I thought about the 24 hour spare ribs I kindly asked the waitress if I need to come back tomorrow that created a laugh but I am sure she's heard it before. Food was great we had a good selection,

Thai Style Pan-fried Chicken Pieces. very mild not spicy at all.

Koy Special Crispy Squid, Tender pieces, pan fried in a super-light batter and served with hot sweet sauce.

Spicy Vegetable Vermicelli Salad, crunchy vegetables in a hot sweet and sour dressing with garlic.

Green Curry with Beef and Boiled Rice quite I found this one quite mild for my liking.

Koy's Jungle Curry very hot in deed, Fragrant fiery thin sauce with Thai herbs, green peppercorns and sliced red chili's.

We had some lovlely food and great company to top it off, service was good and didn't mind a bit of banter. I would recommend this place if your in Bath.
