Meeting friends in Bath for evening cocktails and Thai meal. Starting point was the Be At One Cocktail bar happy good time to start although I had the keys and was driving.;-(next time i will take the train. Easter Sunday Lunch at the Angel Inn, Upton Scudamore

As i never bought the wife any easter eggs I took her for lunch at The Angel Inn, Upton Scudamore, near Warminster. I understand that there is new management / landlords in well at least 4 months or more. The new decor is inviting subtle muted colours of mulbery.

Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race 2015

It was a very early start this morning up at 4.30 am get kit packed in car and off to Devizes for the DWRACE 2015. Race start time 7.00 am.
First time i have been to this event and it's been happening for years, In fact every year at Easter since 1948.
The race length is 125 miles long, 52 miles along the Kennet and Avon canal to Reading, 55 mile...
